2nd Trimester

night of the living triage..

So yesterday right at the beginning of my shift I started feeling really weird. Like my stomach (intestines not unterine) cramped super bad and then I had to run to the bathroom and had diarrhea. Sorry tmi.
After that I felt fine (little whoozy) and then like 5 minutes blacked out and woke up with people lifting me up into one of the unused resident beds.
Ended up at triage hooked to a fetal monitor. It was pretty amusing feeling and hearing little lacy kick the crap out of the monitor.
No one seemed concerned at the hospital at all which seemed kind of weird to me. Didn't even really get an explanation as to why I might have gone down. They discharged me after literally only an hour. No iv. No clear instructions. Something about needing the bed. I'm just confused as to why it happened like this. Any of you lady's have a similar experience?
(Sorry about the title. My SO decided it needed to be named that)

  • did they check your vital signs other than fetal heart beat?  maybe you vagal'ed when you had the abdominal cramping/ going to the bathroom. either way talk to your ob/gyn... hope you're feeling better and getting some rest!
