I don't see this started yet, so I thought I'd kick it off.
Today is my best friend Melissa's birthday and I am thankful for her. She helped me get my first opportunity to teach Zumba Fitness this year at her church. She made me a cloak to wear at the PA Renaissance Faire. And she keeps me sane at work everyday. I am also thankful she is sharing the yummy S'mores birthday cake her supervisor made her.
And I am thankful this baby will have an Aunt Melissa who will spoil him and love him and also help make him tiny adorable costume or help us trick out our stroller to look like a dragon or a pirate ship for the PA Renaissance Faire in a year or two.
N14 January Siggy Challenge - What Sucks About Work
Re: Thankful Thursday!
I'm thankful that due to said dinner, I worked an hour late last night so I get to start my weekend an hour early today. Woohoo!
I'm thankful that I don't work on Fridays. It is so great to have that extra day and by the time Monday rolls around I'm actually refreshed and ready to head back to work.
I'm thankful that DH and I have options for our future. We are currently discussing moving back to the Outer Banks and me becoming a SAHM if we do that. Not many people have the opportunity to do so.
I love Thankful Thursday!
I am thankful for this sweet baby boy we're having. I can't wait to meet him and get to know him. I am also so thankful for each little movement I feel from him. It's just such a great reminder of what's to come
I am also thankful for DH's family being close by. I probably complain about them more than I should, but they aren't really that bad. Plus they do a lot for us- even if it's not really necessary!
I am so so thankful for my DH. He is so wonderful and caring and he's going to be the best dad ever. I am so excited to our next adventure together- becoming parents.

I am thankful that my cat has transformed from wild animal to patient sphinxlike companion. He must know I'm pregnant now, he listens when I tell him not to step on the baby or to go lay down because I don't want to play. He lays down at my feet while I get ready in the morning instead of screaming at me for food. He makes sure I'm okay in the shower. He is a great little buddy and he never used to be. Love you, cat
I'm thankful for my boss and coworkers! It really does feel like a family. Next week, we are throwing a baby shower for a FT grandma! <:-P And she and everyone were so happy for me when I announced. I was so nervous because I haven't quite been with the company a year yet.
N14 Nov. Siggy: CELEBRATION!
I would post a wedding pic but this new bump app is a piece of GARBAGE!
This is not a brag post at all, but I'm thankful for the house we live in. I don't know that I really ever realized how much I actually appreciated it until this week. We bought some baby furniture off craigslist this week and the house I went to was so tiny and it was packed to the core. The poor kid's bedrooms were so small, I don't know how the crib even fit in the room (it was already apart). They were very clean and organized people, but I can't even begin to imagine that. So to all of you ladies who live in small houses, apartments, whatever type of small living quarters and feel crammed, I tip my hat to you.
(I do realize I may change my mind about the size of my house once a kid or few become residents LOL).
ETA: Removal of words. I like to type JUST and THAT a lot and both words drive me crazy and are pretty much never needed in a sentence, or at least used as often as I type them
