Lesson learned an AW

A friend gave E a gift certificate to one of those chain photo places for her baptism. So I thought I'd use it to have 1 year photos taken. And taken I was. They shoot all these photos then try to sell you the $500 package. I kept saying that I just wanted a basic package but they kept showing the slightly lower packages, making me eliminate a photo or two here and there. 20 min later, we were only at the $129 package and E was cranky from getting hungry and was over it. I walked out of there $100 lighter and with a pack of three times the photos I needed. Never again. Serious buyers remorse here. I'll stick to my small town photographers here on out. At least we got some cute shots of my soon to be toddler!

FWIW- We got Christmas pictures and P's first year pictures done at JCP with a Groupon and were very pleased.  I don't know if you have one in your area or not.
