Rough night

TMI --- DH and I were about to ttc and I ended up being a bit dry down there......all hell broke out.  He told me that we should just go get IVF.  He is getting frustrated that it hasn't been working.  The doctor has taken tests and everything looks good....we got pregnant with our son, got pregnant about a year ago but had a miscarriage.  I got so upset, he calms down and comes back in the room where I am hysterical crying.  He tells me that its just getting to him and its nothing against me.  He wants to continue trying.   I actually think we may have missed ovulation this month anyhow.  I had the two day period and now waiting to see when the next period comes which is suppose to start between July 6-8.  Please keep your fingers crossed that it happens soon-- I hate that its getting him so frustrated.

I'm sorry you had a rough night. TTC is not easy. I hope your BFP comes soon. Have you gone to an RE yet?

@soontobeshrade     I haven't gone to a RE-- the doctor says everything looks good from my tests and its just the timing and getting the right shot.  I honestly don't want to go to one.  I want to do it naturally b/c I know we can do it.  I think we are just both getting frustrated that our timing has been off.  I honestly thought that last month after getting the +opk two days in a row that we had a good shot but nope.  I haven't gotten a +opk this month yet--just have a feeling we are out of the running this month b/c of the 27 day cycle I have been having.

Never TMI here. This is our safe place to share experiences that we are uncomfortable sharing with those closest to us in our lives.
Have you tried Pre-seed? It's a natural lubricant and I use it on a regular basis. At one time, my husband told me I was overly lubed down there.
I didn't have sex at all this last cycle. A whole month of no sex. I have zero sex drive right now and I'm in a shitty place mentally. So, I feel for you.
Try to be easier on yourself. I know easier said than done, right? ((Hugs))

@Lesliem0901--- THANK YOU!!!!  I have been using pre-seed, it doesn't seem to have been enough last night...usually I do enough but it wasn't last night.  I also think we were both tired from the weekend running around and it just got to DH.  He told me this morning that he loved me and we will keep trying.  I was soo upset last night that I even told him that if he didn't want to continue I would go somewhere else ---- I apologized quickly for that--I got so emotional after he said he got frustrated.  He said that he knew I was upset and emotional which is why he didn't respond to that comment.

@kris-dan - TTC is like a full-time job on top of another full-time job. And mentally, we all know how important it is to have sex during our FW but sometimes we just can't get our bodies or minds to cooperate. I'm glad you guys were able to talk it out this morning. Communication is so important and it sounds like your husband gets it.

I'm sorry you had such a hard time.  After enough BFN cycles, all that timed sex really does start to wear on a person!  It sounds like it opened up some good communication between you and YH, though, and I'm glad he's being supportive.  Good luck to you!

Awww, Kris...I'm so sorry!

TTC is not always the fun you would think it would be. It's more 'mechanical' and not as romantic or spontaneous, and there is a lot of pressure on both parties in hopes everything works out okay and they get a BFP.  ***sending you hugs from afar***

Thank you for sharing that bit of reality (i.e. bumps in the road) that all of us have to go through in one way or another. The fact you are both so emotional about the issue shows how much you want a child, and forces you to practice communication -- all of which is great news for the said child who is just waiting for the stars (or your bodies) to be aligned just so! Glad to hear you have worked it out and will keep trying.

@lgsdesigner You said it perfectly!!  He said that its all not fun and romantic anymore...feels more like a job.

I think we may hold off til my period and start trying then again so we can have a breather.

@kris-dan - That's probably a good idea. Honestly...I wouldn't tell him next month when you are fertile. Just jump him and have fun!

I know how it goes. DH has a hard time performing under stress so once he's ready we have to do it now... If I'm ready or not. In cases like that we use a little coconut oil. A tiny bit goes a long way and it's a really good moisturizer too.

It's frustrating on both parties. In a mans mind they well at least my DH he starts feeling like I'm using him. He says I'm not really into sex I'm just doing it for reproductive purposes. I hop it all works out for you and you get that BFP
