Pregnant after a Loss

Travel Question

Good morning ladies,

I plan to call my doctor just to check, but do any of you know of any precautions I should be taking on a super long car trip?  We leave tomorrow to drive from north GA to the Upper Peninsula of MI (about 15 hours one way).  I am 7w3d with twins.  I actually think the entire day of rest will be good for me :)

Thanks for any input!

Re: Travel Question

  • @RN536 thanks!  That really sucks though.  I am the type to push straight through and stop as few times as possible!

  • I'm guessing by staying really well hydrated you'll want to stop every hour and a half to two hours for the bathroom anyway. When you do stop I would just stretch a bit and perhaps take a small walk. If you do start to feel swelling in your ankles while on the trip you could stop and walk more.
