After going through this pregnancy and home birth, I have gotten really involved in birthing and birth rights. I love talking about all things birth related. In fact my Facebook friends are probably pretty annoyed.
I am starting to consider becoming a doula down the road to put this passion to use!
Is anyone here a doula? If so, what program did you use to get certified?
I'm no doula, but its certification through DONA. It's gonna take about 4 years to complete. I think this would be a great job for you if you're passionate about it. Good for you! Good Luck
I trained with toLabor. https://www.tolabor.com/ They are a fantastic organization. I would recommend them and I have also heard great things about DONA.
Re: Any Doulas Out There?
I'm excited about this possibility but will need to at least wait until the kids are a bit older.
