Pregnant after a Loss

Worrying

When do you stop worrying. I am 13 weeks pregnant which is the furthest I have gotten in a pregnancy. I had a great 12 week scan baby was healthy and moving around so much... Also the testing came back all good. But here I am worrying like crazy!

Re: Worrying

  • I'll let you know when I stop.  :)  I'm almost 26 weeks now and I was freaking out this morning because I didn't think LO was moving enough.  I don't think the worry will ever go away unfortunately.  But I think your worry will diminish a little more when you start to feel your LO move.  Hang in there.  PGAL is tough.

  • I am almost at 12 weeks so I'm behind you but just wanted to let you know that I'll say a prayer for your LO and for you. Hoping you can start to relax some very soon.
  • We were talking about this a bit on a thread @momtobe85 posted earlier today. Unfortunately, for a lot (most?) of us, the worry doesn't really go away. It just changes. I do feel some relief to be in the second tri, but I'm still scared and disbelieving. Hang in there!

This. I'm 23 weeks and I've had several freakouts about the baby not moving enough. For me, I don't think the worry will go away until she is breathing and crying in my arms. My doppler has been a HUGE reassurance- I think I'd be in L&D every other day without it! Hang in there.

  • Getting out of the first tri made it a bit easier to breathe for me, but mostly the worry has just taken on new forms.  As PP have mentioned, I don't know if I'll truly relax about PGAL until she is screaming in my arms....and then I have to worry about her being on the outside.  Big ((hugs))!

  • I have been looking into getting a doppler! i really want one! are they hard to use or find the heartbeat.... i just dont want to get one and then freak myself out even more because i cant find the hb. I have a appt on the 3rd and then a week after that i will be back to freaking out. My boyfriend is really good at reassuring me that all is fine.... but those what ifs just pop up while im at work or away from him....

Which doppler would you suggest too! My doctor said she suggest not getting one, but i still would like to invest!
