I get them all the time. I always respond it's usually just stupid stuff. My friend did change her cell phone number once and I kept texting her. She never responded for a while, I was getting pissed because she never responded. Then one night at a Mardi Gras party some friends and I were texting her on my phone telling her to get her ass there. We were drinking a lot. He finally responded saying he didn't know who she was. We thought she was playing a joke and we argued with him and said some crazy stuff back. Come to find out she changed her number. OOPS!!! I hope he got a good laugh out of it.

I once got a text that read: “Do you want me to pick up the cat?”
I replied with: “You don’t have to anymore. The dog at it.”
Their reply: “Obviously…I got the wrong number.”

What possesses men to send out junk pics, anyway? I mean, has any woman ever looked at a photo of a man's kibbles n' bits and thought, "lemme get some of that!"?

@Austrogermokee - My fiancé used to live in Cincinnati, and I was in Columbus. We didn’t get to see each other during the week…only the weekends. Sometimes, he would send me suggestive photos, but not the whole kitten-kaboodle. Just his bare chest and his pants pulled down a little past his hips to tease. I prefer suggestive rather than a close up slong pic any day. lol

My husband gets weird texts about plumbing work and company plumbing meetings. They come through like 1-2/month and he used to be nice about it and tell them they had the wrong number. Same number just doesn't get it, so now he just messes with them. I think he might be enjoying this now.

I had a boyfriend in college whose phone number was just one digit off from Gumby's Pizza. Eventually he gave up and just started taking orders.

I have a pre text, answering machine wrong number story I can share.  I lived by myself so I just had a generic message with no identifying detail in it.  A guy was calling a stripper with details about a bachelor party and must have dailed my number by mistake.  Funniest thing ever listening to a guy talk about what they were expecting and ended with this kicker, I would get extra money if I brought a friend.  I saved the message for a week.  It was hilarious.  The sad think was, it was more than I made in 1 week teaching.  Needless to say, I really didn't ask to many questions about DH's bachelor party.
