I wish the ice cream stand delivered

All we have in the house is mint chocolate chip (yuck but DH likes it). I could go for a peanut butter cup nor'easter (basically a Blizzard) but didn't feel like driving the 12 minutes to the ice cream stand. So I had cheese and crackers. Totally not a good substitute.

I totally agree! Or at least if my local Walmart would, they could bring me a B&J's chubby hubby. :-?

@TLK08 Exactly! I told DH I was considering at least driving the 10 minutes to WM and leaving him here with DD. He was surprised I was still here when he got out of the shower. It just seemed like a waste of gas, especially when his car is in the shop and quoted at $1400....we don't have that.

But if they delivered......lol

@countrygrl5533‌ lol! we used to live out of town too and it's such a waste of gas to run in for one thing and back. If we didn't have it then oh well. Hopefully the car is less than that. Since we just moved we're still unpacking and I don't have the energy to go anywhere. Lol.

I was doing SO good to resist DQ after all the Blizzard talk on here this week. Then I saw a guy walking into Publix holding one as I was leaving...

I convinced DH to drive thru on our way home and ate the entire mini Reese's blizzard before we pulled in the driveway

I just went to the freezer to dip into some homemade vanilla...someone put the tub back EMPTY!!

I woke up this morning and still wanted ice cream (yup, it's obvious it's period week). It's probably a good thing I'm without a car this week and am 10 miles from the closest store.

Talenti Banana Chocolate Caramel makes my heart singe.  I settled for Great Value Vanilla Bean because it was in the house.  Definitely not an acceptable substitute.

Please tell me you at least had chocolate syrup or chocolate chips or frosting or something to add to the vanilla. That is the whole point of vanilla, imo...to be a carrier for toppings. lol

Please tell me you at least had chocolate syrup or chocolate chips or frosting or something to add to the vanilla. That is the whole point of vanilla, imo...to be a carrier for toppings. lol

I'm the opposite, vanilla is my topping.  Last night was on top of Tollhouse cookie, but usually on top of brownies.  I bought the pampered chef brownie pan that does the individual brownies so they all have 4 corners.  It changed my life.

I like vanilla on my brownies too. But I don't like edges. I go straight for the middle brownie.
