Oh, no. FSH sky rocketed :(

Went to my RE today for 3 day bloods and sono.  We are on IVF track, but was secretly hoping that my levels would be stable enough to try IUI just once so I can say we tried everything.  In the last 3 months my estrogen has been elevated because of active follicles/cysts, twice, one of those months my FSH was 7.  The one month I didn't have active follicles my FSH was 24.  RE was concerned, but not overly so.  Today, no cysts...I was so happy!  My labs are fine, EXCEPT my FSH was 43!!!  I am sick over this.  I am only 38 years old!

We are going to try to IUI anyway, starting clomid tonight for the first time since TTC.  RE is not hopeful for IUI OR IVF with my own egg.  Anyone else see this before?  Success stories, by chance?

I understand there is nothing I can do to change my fate, and it certainly is what it is, but I, still, am very hopeful.  I cannot imagine this is how my story ends.

I'm sorry you got that news!  That seems like a huge leap in such a short time.  Are they absolutely sure it's not lab error or something?

I'm so sorry. I know how you are feeling because I was also there a few years ago. A lot of doctors will turn you away but there are some hi FSH specialists who will treat you. It's a gamble on whether something will work-- you just don't know. I did 4OE IVFs but our embryo quality was just terrible. But I've seen many who got their babies in the end. I don't know where you live but I went to Dr Check (Cooper Repro Med in Marlton NJ. He won't even blink at your FSH. Lots of people travel to see him. Also, check out https://www.network54.com/Forum/53068/. It's for high ladies--I'm sending you to over 40 even though you aren't just bc that board is busier/more helpful these days than the u der 40 board. A lot of them are banking embryos at a few clinics around the country. Be prepared to travel etc-- it's all a lot of work but you can get. Treatment if you really want it. Hugs.

I'm hoping it's lab error, just frustrating. I'm not opposed to DE at all, I'm opposed to the cost lol. I just want to try everything leading up to that. Miracles happen all the time, and I know I was meant to be a mother. I appreciate all the support. This sucks. My RE is supportive, and honest. Sometimes, that too, suck

Wow...those numbers are really wonky. I'd def get a second opinion and have a new RE check you out. Regardless, I hope only the best for you. Fx for a successful IUI!

I am so sorry to hear this.  It does seem very strange that it would go up so quickly.

Sad to say but FSH can skyrocket very quickly.
