How are you feeling?

My allergies are kicking my butt! Runny nose, wore throat, dry cough and also general fatigue. It doesn't help that the air conditioner in our church building is out this morning and its already nearly 90 outside...

Any upcoming appointments/milestones/pregnancy updates to share?

Next appointment is on the 30th at just ovwr 10 weeks. We will probably tell everyone after that if all goes well

Thoughts/vents? My youngest has some red spots on the roof of his mouth near his throat and it could be strep... I'm really hoping its not. He had a fever on Friday but nothing since... will be taking him in to the doc tomorrow

Church with DH, lunch with my dad and step mom, then dinner with DHs grandparents and family.

How many weeks?  Fruit/veg [if you know]? 36 - honeydew!

How are you feeling? My carpal tunnel is bothering me more and more and my heartburn is getting worse...I think I may need to up my Zantac dose.  My feet are super puffy and I have cankles.  Also, exhausted!  Though on Friday night I managed to get 11 hours of sleep and I felt pretty great yesterday (aside from my hands and my heartburn).  My body feels OK overall.  I just got back from yoga and it was nice to get stretched out.

Any upcoming appointments/milestones/pregnancy updates to share? I am now going to weekly appointments and ultrasounds.  We saw Mr. Baby for the first time last week since second tri and he is just a little peanut, measuring in the 20% percentile!  I am not so secretly glad that he is small -- as long as he's healthy (which he is), a smaller baby just seems easier for me to carry and birth!  Plus it means he'll actually fit into all those cute newborn clothes people bought for us.

Next week: full term!!!

Thoughts/vents? As you probably know, I've been super stressed out about our nursery progress.  Yesterday my dad and stepmother came over and put up wallpaper in the nursery (with my wife's help).  It was kind of a PIA but it is done and I think it looks great!  More importantly, now we can set up the crib, move in the dresser, and start putting things away and decorating.  While they were working, I put away bottles, nipples and other feeding stuff in a kitchen cabinet and then sorted bath items to see if we were short or had too many of anything.  I got the bath stuff we are keeping de-tagged and ready to wash.  Then we went out to dinner, returned several things we had duplicates/too many of (we got a lot of duplicate books and about a million hooded towels), and bought our crib mattress and a jumbo pack of diapers with some coupons and gift cards we had.  There is still a lot to do but I feel so much better about our progress and our chances of getting things done before Mr. Baby arrives!

QOTW: It's Father's Day!  Are you celebrating with your father, husband, in-laws, etc?  What's the plan? No fathers or fathers-to-be in this household.  We did send cards to my wife's father and stepfather, who live out of state, and I assume she will call them today.  We usually have dinner with my dad and sisters, who are local, but since one sister was going away this weekend and we have a big family dinner planned next weekend, we decided we'd celebrate next weekend.  It's just really hard for my wife and I to commit to a family dinner every weekend when we have so much else going on.  Of course, now I feel sort of guilty that we aren't doing something with my dad today.  I hope he's OK with it.

@MoreThanSparrows08 - I hope your youngest doesn't have strep!  Yikes, I'm sure that's just what you need at this point.

@Linden25 -- thanks for the sn explanation, I was wondering why I didn't recognize your name!  I laughed that July 10 feels far away to you because it's 3 days before my EDD and feels frighteningly close!!!   But I remember being there.
