Parkland Medical Center in Derry

Hello!  Has anyone ever given birth at Parkland Medical Center, or heard anything about the experience there?  My OB is affiliated there, but I haven't heard very good things.  Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!!

Hi Shelly, I delivered my oldest son there 13 years ago and had an excellent experience. My nurses were awesome. Took very good care of me since after birth I had some complications. Although I'm sure things have changed in 13 years, I plan on delivering my second son there in February.

I moved to the area three years ago and one of the first things I was told was to avoid Parkland. Because of this, I limited my provider search to only those affiliated with The Elliot. The Elliot is also the only southern NH hospital with a NICU.

It's really a personal choice, but there are a lot of negative reviews about Parkland. If I were you, I'd search for another provider.

Go with Elliot over Parkland! I have heard terrible things about Parkland
