I don't think Sylvie is not too close to Shelby Kate. Since Shelby Kate is a double name it takes away the similarity for me. Is that weird? lol I think if you are going to call her Sylvie just name her that. I don't really see it as a nn.
Clara and Isla are kind of similar but I think it just might be the "a" ending so I think it's ok.

Sylvie and Shelby are pretty close, but like PP said if you always call Shelby Kate by both names, it's not that bad. I don't see anything similar about Clara and Isla besides the ending, and I love Clara!!
I'm on the fence with Shelby and Sylvie. I LOVE Sylvie, but I'm thinking that it miiight be a little too similar to Shelby. Clara sounds awesome with the sibset!
I think Clara and Isla are too close but if Shelby is always Shelby Kate then I think Sylvia nn Sylvie is adorable. Sylvia is at the top of my future children's name list too.
