Lightweight stroller for travel

Hi all,

We are taking our first family vacation to Florida in a few weeks, and I'd like to get a lightweight, inexpensive stroller for traveling. Any recommendations? We still like our Britax so I'm not really looking to replace it, just want something small and that I wouldn't be too upset if something happened to it.

Thanks in advance!

  • We have a First Years Ignite stroller. I love it for my around town errands and for easy strolls. We are flying with it this week so I'll have a really good review of it after next weekend!

We flew 2 weeks ago and brought our umbrella stroller.  It's the babies r us brand and worked out great.  Especially since once you chek it at the plane who knows how they handle it.

  • When we flew to Florida a few months ago, I bought this one: https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=17077766&ab=BRU:bproduct_rr:Customers Also Liked:2

I really liked it because it gave me the features that my nice Chicco stroller had---but much cheaper and even lighter weight. I would recommend it!

I have a Maclaren Quest that I got at a consignment sale for 20$.  That is our go to for travelling, sometimes even if it's just an overnight road trip (saves room in the car).

  • I got an Uppa Baby G-Luxe used for $20 and we love it. It stands on its own when folded, is very lightweight, and reclines.

They are expensive new, but fairly easy to find used.
