The past few days my cramps have been getting stronger. Starting yesterday evening, they were strong enough to bother me. Like strong AF cramps. They come and go, and I woke up with them at least 3 times last night. There's no blood, not even a trace, so I'm not too worried. I'm hoping it's just the uterus stretching more vigorously than before. I am going to call the OB GYN when they open though, and I'll keep you posted. Anyone else having stronger (not mild) cramps?
UPDATE: The OBGYN said that as long as there is no blood, cramping is completely normal during pregnancy. The cramps can be really strong and still be normal. She said that drinking lots of water can help. First, if you get dehydrated it makes your uterus much more likely to cramp, and second because apparently drinking a large amount of water eases the cramps in some women. I have my first prenatal on Thursday, so she suggested that I try drinking more water and take tylenol if it gets bad, but she thought I'd be fine until we can talk more at the appointment on Thursday. She said if I had pain on only one side or if I saw any blood I should go to the ER. So I am going to try to stop worrying... and get some water.
I've had a lot of strong cramping this pregnancy, which is a big change from my pregnancy with DS--any cramping there was always accompanied by bleeding. My betas and last week's u/s indicate that everything is on track for now. I do have a tipped uterus, which my OB told me last time might make my cramping, both during AF and pregnancy, more pronounced.

I hope all is going well. I've been having a lot of cramping too, and my SIL told my to drink a lot of water and elevate my feet because thats what worked for her. It has been working for me so far, she also said to do prenatal yoga to help, but I haven't gotten that far yet though. Good Luck OP
