Using care.com/sittercity to get babysitting gigs

Hi ladies!  I'm wondering if any of you ever used care.com or sittercity to find yourself a babysitting/nanny job. I just applied for some date night jobs, and want to know the chances of hearing back.  (because your experience will totally be the same as mine/sarcasm)

But seriously, anyone have any experiences with this?
