I started a walk to run program yesterday. Oh my god, I hate running, but I really need the cardio. Right now, I do four minutes walking then one running for half an hour. By the last running chunk, I had to convince myself that I would not fall off the treadmill and die. That's how out of shape I am.
On the positive side, I am totally looking forward to going back to Zumba this week. They learn new dances at the beginning of the month, so everyone will be starting fresh and I won't be completely lost.
I'm still at 15 lbs gone. I found a walk to run program I want to start, but getting outside for the runs/walks is not my strong suit. I'm rocking the off-day calf raises though!
I would never do it if I had to run outside. Florida in the summer? Miserable. Running in Florida in the summer? Death.

actually no. that's a lie. I am still drenched in sweat by the end. the humidity is horrible!
it was hot as all hell in that room and we did squats, planks, burpees, push ups, and lunges. My ass and thighs are still burning....
The instructor didn't do it with us. She would show us move at a time then walk around and critique- I didn't like that aspect. She was super annoying.
But I'm going back Friday!! I loved it. It was hard but it was a blast.
Went running this am. Stretched for a good 15 minutes beforehand.
I'm on my period and didn't run yesterday- I cuddled with my heating pad most of the day. These cramps are constant and all day. Makes me want to go back on BC sooooo bad.
I have been eating wonderfully but ate a pint of ice cream in 2 days- I blame my period haha
I've been rocking it this week and I feel great! I'm determined to keep it up. Again, here's the workout I've been doing everyday this month.
Do you do the 4-5 times all at one time or spread it out throughout the day? This seems doable while I am inside and I think if I add it to my running, maybe I'll get the lbs moving in the right direction a little quicker?
