Twin over double bunk beds...anybody have them? Anybody have a suggest of a place to get wood ones that I could paint or more modern looking metal ones?
I should have added that I need cheap too...it would be for a lake house. I really want these awesome colored metal ones from Room and Board but I would be hard pressed to buy them for my real house much less lake cabin.
If you are looking for cheap we have the twin over double metal bunk beds from walmart. I think it was $300. We did cheap as a trial to see how it worked out and the bed has been fine. When we move I probably wouldn't take it apart and put back together but for a vacation home it is perfect.
We got a twin over twin at Target that was inexpensive and is actually pretty nice! Two years old and it still looks perfect despite the kids playing like wild animals on it! For a vacation home it would likely be absolutely perfect.
We bought this set for the same reasons as you. Wanted something with a simple more modern look, and wanted it cheap since it's for a beach house. We've had it a year and so far so good. We purchased Ikea mattresses to use with it.

I looked at this, glad to hear you like it. I think we'll probably do this or the wood one from target that is white. Then we're going to put an old twin w/ trundle in there that we bought from Room and Board but don't have space for now that DS is here. Glad I didn't sell it like I wanted too! Do that will sleeping 4-6 if people share the double. Or it will sleep another couple if we have adults only...well a couple who will sleep in a double, I do know a few. They're nuts.

Dh and I shared a double for two years while we rented--we didn't upgrade to a king until we bought a house and we are big people. I don't know how we survived looking back. Lol
Consider DIY - There are instructions online (some are ~$10) and aren't expensive at all depending on what wood you choose to use. The other nice thing is you can customize it since one thing we found with the bunk bed and trundle is that they aren't made to support thicker/comfier mattresses nor foam mattresses that are thinner and more comfortable to sleep on..
Is this your company? What do you mean you can do it yourself? Build one from scratch? Who does that when you can get one for less than $200 at Ikea or wal mart
@quesyrah - I have no idea what you are talking about... are you asking if I edited agnesanddeve's post with the spam gif? Nope. And how the hell is she still posting if she's banned?!?

That's what I thought too but I can't find who I did so... Let me know if I flagged you! :-)
