Intro/nap question

Hi, my LO just turned 3 months today!  Where did the time go?  I've been lurking this board the last few weeks as I've found a lot of the topics relevant to what my little guy's been going through but it's the first time I'm posting a question on here... 

My guy is a cat napper.  He sleeps great at night but only naps for 30-45 mins.  That's been pretty consistent since we brought him home from the hospital.  I've been trying really hard at reading LO's sleep cues and getting him down for naps whenever he's showing he needs them.  He naps every 75-120 mins.  Lately, he's taken a few naps that have been over an hour... so exciting!  However, his wake time doesn't seem to be affected much by how long his naps are.  It doesn't seem to matter if he takes a 30 min nap vs a 90 min nap, he's still awake for the same amount of time.  What has been your experiences with nap/wake times?  TIA!
