Hey, I'm having it right now... it vary sometimes it's best to rest, other times to walk it off and or stretches. Once I feel the pain, most times I just relax, then try and move.... walk slowly or so stretches and if it's too painful. take a break. Then try again in a bit. It also helps to walk a lot when you can.
Ugh I had it last two months of my first pregnancy and it carried right on through to this one..walking NEVER helps me ..sometimes stretching helps but it also depends in how much discomfort I am In
Chiropractor and trying to get the baby to move off the nerve have been the most consistent ways that I've found relief.
I've had some success getting the baby to move by putting my knees up on the edge of my couch and my hands on the floor, sort of like push-up position, so my belly is hanging upside down. Not easy to do, especially as you get bigger, but stay upside down as long as you can stand it (I can usually do about 3 mins.) and that usually encourages baby to shift enough to get relief for a few days.
Have DH or someone else handy to help you get into/out of that position if you try it, btw.
I have it now as it was brought on from this pregnancy. I went to see an Acupuncturist and the pain is all but gone. I only feel the sharp pain when I try and roll over in bed after laying on my back for too long.
