UGH!!! Seriously?!

So I've been waiting 2 weeks for the results from my RPL panels to come back..... :-<
I have an appt tomorrow morning with a new RE for a second opinion; MH has been calling our current REs office everyday asking for the results but hasn't had his call returned. So finally MH got ticked and called the REs office again before they closed..... They said "yes we have the results but we can't give them to you because the doctor has to go over them first and he already left for the day..."

WTF? Not cool...
They are really pushing me over to any other RE....... Not cool.

    BFP#2 8/25/2013 MC confirmed 10/16/2013 @ 12 wks (D&C 10/18)

    Diagnosis: unexplained RPL, unexplained IF.

    Also have hypothyroidism

    Started TTC again 12/2013

     

    IUI#1:Clomid CD 3-7, Trigger'ed CD 12. IUI CD 14. BFN

    IUI #2:Letrozole CD 3 - 7, Follistim CD 9, Trigger CD 10, IUI CD12. BFN

    Current plan: IVF with PGD. Antagonist - Vivelle Protocal. Stim start 12/1. ER 12/14.

    Ugh how frustrating! Glad you are switching to a different RE that will hopefully be much more patient-centered.

    Ugh that's extremely frustrating. I hate when doctor's offices keep your own medical record information a huge secret from you (my own RE has been guilty of this).
    I hope you have much better luck with your new RE!!

    PG#1 - 3rd cycle BFP. Team Green. HELLP syndrome @ 34 weeks.
    Later diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, possible link to HELLP.

    PG#2 M/C 3/14 - Surprise BFP 2/13. Beta's doubled every 52 hours from 3w5d-5w5d
    Viable pregnancy scan at 5w5d; 2nd u/s showed 2 days of growth in 7 but a HB of 120
    3rd u/s on 3/10/14 had no HB and baby had only grown 7 days over 14
    D&C 3/17/14 - complications - DX Retroflexed uterus, multiple tears to cervix

    I'm sorry they are adding unneeded stress! Sometimes my RE office is the same but I have no other option unless I want to go 8 hours away. I hope the new re is way better at communicating!

    Oh wow that would be super frustrating, hopefully this new RE is a lot better at getting back to you about results. My RE has a patient portal and the results from labs are usually posted a few hours before they call... that helps calm my nerves at least, they should probably consider doing something like that if they cant get back to people !!

    I am so sorry you have to go through this! I totally feel your frustration. I waited over 6 weeks for most of my results and when I met with RE to come up with a plan he based my results only on my FSH and AMH without knowing any other results including H's. ((Hugs))

    Awe, Hun ..so sorry for the frustration! Hopefully you have a good impression with the new RE as this whole process is frustrating enough without being able to rely on your professional! Looking forward to hearing about your meeting with the new RE!

    That is so unbelievably frustrating and I will never, ever understand why an office that has to deal with people that are already going through so much put even more burden on them by not giving good customer service. I'm sorry you have to deal with this, I truly hope the new office is everything you need and treats you well. Hugs.

    That is so frustrating. Is the office closed already? If not, maybe you can have them fax the results to the new RE and he/she can go over them with you tomorrow? I hope tomorrow's appointment goes well! Keep us updated.

    I would hate that!  I'm so sorry.  I actually know the feeling.  I can never get a hold of my RE and now I'm looking for another clinic.  I hope that you get the results soon.

    Sending you lots of hugs, lady. Ugh I'm so sorry - that must be so frustrating. But I'm glad you're seeing a new RE. Seeing someone new made all the difference for me - I had no idea how important it would be to me until I did it. Lots and lots of love :)
