I was wondering if you wake up too early and temp outside of your typical time range (mine was 2 hours early this morning because my body sucks) does your body normally react with a falsely high temperature or a falsely low temperature? Do you notice that its different preovulation vs postovulation?

Do you mean are the temperatures different pre vs post O? I thought that was the point? Ideally your temps are lower before O and higher after. The shift is supposed to help you target when you O. For instance, my temps are always in 97 range before O and after O, they're in 98 range.
I don't think waking up earlier gives a falsely high reading either but I'm just going by my experience. The few times I've woken up earlier than my usual time, my temps have still been in the same range as the ones I took at my normal time.

I had tried some google searching and some people reported that say preovulation their early temps would be falsely high but after ovulation if they temped out of the time range it would be falsely low.
I do not have much experience with waking up earlier than normal because I get up pretty early. however, for me if I oversleep (usually on weekends) I've noticed my temp is higher than usual. hope this helps a little.

I have a hard time temping at the same time everyday, cause DS wakes up at different times everyday and very early at that. My "normal time" would be 5:30am. I notice if I wake up earlier, the temp might be a little lower, and if I wake up a little later, it might be a little higher. But not really enough to make a difference. I still managed to get an overall pattern, which is really what you are looking for anyways. Don't read to much into one temp.

I'm trying not too. If it had been any other day I would have blown it off. I'm just 10 dpo and had spotting the previous 2 days. Of course I woke up 2 hours early and my temp looks like an implantation dip (.2 degrees below cover line). Its probably nothing and I'm making too much out of nothing. Just trying to gather data for my brain
The only false spikes I have gotten are from partying too hard the night before. Other than that, there should be a clear shift no matter the time (as long as sleeping is involved).
Remember, you are looking at trends, not singular temps. A single spike does not a ruined chart make.
For me, my temp tends to be a lot lower if I temp earlier than normal (5AM), or a lot higher if I temp later on weekends.
Same for me.
OP how long is your normal LP?
Well this is only my 2nd cycle off BC. last cycle was 11. Entirely too short for my liking considering last cycle I spotted for 3 days before my period started. My temp didn't drop until cd 3 though. So my initial thought was not to consider the drop a sign of impending period. Idk. I could still just be leveling out.
