Meds while pregnant?

I wanted to ask if anyone has been on any kind of anxiety/depression medicine while you were TTC or pregnant? Either way or both. What did you take?

Dh says that I need to go back on my meds. I just worry about taking any when we do start TTC or while I'm pregnant. I know they aren't good for the developing baby.

I have also been on Effexor in the past and went off when DH and I started TTC.  It was a nightmare to withdraw from and I NEEDED to be back on meds.  I didn't like the withdrawal effects that Effexor had and I was still hoping to keep TTC once I was feeling better so I spoke to my Dr. and they put me on Zoloft.  When I found out I was pg I stopped taking it and while I'd probably be managing better on it, I am managing.  Anywho, here is what my OB explained to me regarding zoloft:

She said there is a slight risk of zoloft effecting fetal cardiac development in the first tri so I could always try to skip taking meds until I'm in my second tri.  Also, she suggested if I choose not to medicate during pregnancy to consider starting the zoloft back again about 2 weeks PRIOR to giving birth.  At that stage the baby shouldn't have any side/withdrawal effects post birth and it may help me prevent a postpartum crash.  That's my plan unless things get ugly and then I will go back on Zoloft in my 2nd tri.
