I spent a ridiculous amount of money on this mini baby Popsicle mold, but it was so worth it! DS looooooves them, and they really help cool him off in this heat. They're the perfect size, they pop right out of the molds, and they don't break off in his mouth.

The one he's eating in the pic is peas and carrots and it's also a great way to use up extra purées you may have around like I do since we mostly practice BLW and just use purées to flavor oats, yogurt, etc.

I bought LO a cheap set of metal measuring spoons. They are shiny and jingle like keys. She loves them.

I feel like I need that pop mold.

What an awesome idea! I might get some of those. When I first saw the molds I felt the same way, and I couldn't stop thinking about them.

I bought that brand molds off citrus lane last month but they were sea theme. I never thought about putting some purée in them for the baby. Cool idea

Omg these are so adorable! DS is always starting at my popsicles and I never let him try them cuz of all the sugar so I love the idea of his own with the purees. Not sure if he'd be able to eat them on his own but it would be adorable to watch lol

The Nose Frida.  Yes, it's a typical baby purchase, but I had no idea how awesome they were until last weekend.  Baby doesn't share my feelings about it.

This baby pool. For $11 on amazon, it is aaaamazing. I love the canopy part for shading the fair-skinned babes!

@scamberlous3000‌ just got these today at Boston Store! Did you put straight puree in them or water it down? I wonder if pedialyte would work too?

@caseyp10‌ I just put straight purée in, and I layer them so they're pretty and tasty too. I've made peas and carrots, carrots, pineapple, and pear, and I'm going to make a strawberry, yogurt, spinach concoction too. Oh, and prune for when he's having tummy issues.

ETA: I deft think pedialyte will work too.

Careful using pedialyte when your baby isn't actually dehydrated. There's about 250 mgs of sodium in a 1 cup serving. I think babies this age aren't supposed to get much more than 400mg.

I went through this with the nurse when DD had some diarrhea issues, she just told me to be careful not to give her pedialyte unless she really was dehydrated as it can be hard on their little kidneys and heart. Just an FYI I wasn't aware either!
