My husband and I are having a hard time choosing a girl's name. We going to be surprised. We decided on a boy name, but can't think of a girl name we really love. I like old fashion names, English names, or feminine classics. Any suggestions? We also like grace but have not found a middle name that we love with it. Please help!!
Louisa Margaret Nora Bethany Seraphina Josephine Charlotte Camilla Aubrey Emma Elizabeth Emily Lila Claire Alison
ETA - That's about 2/3 of my list of girl names...the others don't seem to fit your criteria or are on there for other reasons (relatives names, etc). I only managed to come up with 4 boys names I like total...luckily DH and I found 1 of those that we agree on
I hope I end up having a girl someday so I can name her Kennedy. Not really a classic girl name-but I love it so much that I convinced myself it fit your criteria.
My favorites:
Eleanor
Evelyn
Abigail
Alodie (pronounced elladee)
Eileen
If I have a girl, we have already decided on Evelyn Margaret, after family. Our boy name is also after family.
ETA please forgive the lack of formatting, mobile bumping sucks.
H doesn't like Ali, he's dead set on Lily so I'll probably let him win that one. But we aren't for sure of the middle name either. It's a mix of our mother's middle names, Marie and Faye. He's not thrilled with it and I just don't love the spelling.
But I'm loving some of the other names above! I love Charlotte, Olivia, Emily, Cora, Rosalie.
Apparently I don't have a particular "taste", just a mix of everything
I love the name Norah or Nora for a girl. It's older and classic. It was one on my list. Along with Kennedy...and Addison. We chose Addison, which seems to be on the rise of popularity.
Im loving these refreshing suggestions! I have been going back and forth on several: Adalee Alyssa Kylie Kayla Clara Mackenzie (my husband loves this one) Riley (another one my husband loves)
Thankfully our middle name is set (Mae - a family name).
