Spotting at 10 weeks

in 1st Trimester
This is my first pregnancy, I am 10 weeks right now and I woke up today with some light spotting. I immediately called my doctor and she said that if it gets any worse, like a period, then to go to emergency and if it goes away or remains the same then to come into the office tomorrow for a scan. I am so nervous about this and just wondering if anyone has any wisdom to shed on this topic. Your honesty is much appreciated!

    I had some spotting around the same time. It was basically the cervix eliminating old blood. DD is now 3 1/2 so it was all good. Don't panic.. your body is doing crazy things right now

    I am 9w tomorrow and had spotting all last week.  It has gone away now, but I was freaking out.  I called the doc and she didn't seem concerned at all and said it is very common.  She said to call back if I have moderate cramping or more significant amounts of blood, which neither have happened. FX that it's nothing!
