Headache possible hormone caused vent

I have a horrible headache.  dammit... ok I had a headache last Friday that lasted until Sunday, the kind that hurts with movement, lights, etc.  Yes a migraine.  Felt pretty good yesterday and now it is back.  The only thing I can contribute it to is hormones.  I am so sad bc there is nothing I can take that helps and laying down in a quiet, cool, dark room (even though that hurts too) is impossible as I am at work and cannot leave..and I just threw up the ibuprofen I just took.

    Migraines are the absolute worst. especially when you can't take anything. Does caffeine help for you? During pregnancy I would have a cup of coffee with the ibuprofen, and that would help take the edge off.

    I hope this one breaks for you soon.

    If you have chronic ones talk to your dr about imitrex. It is the only thing that helps me. Not sure if you can take if you are BF though.

    Thanks @ WoodShopGirl I might look into it.  I took immitrex years ago that's why I think these headaches might be hormone induced because when I had my mirena in I had very infrequent headaches and this is really too much!  I started my 1st pp cycle last Monday so I'm hoping as  my hormones regulate my headaches dimenish... I do bf 2-3 x a day although over the weekends it is more frequent as I'm with lo all day. 

    rockopera  I am definitely a coffee/caffeine drinker!  I am feeling a little better after lunch which included a Diet Coke... I'm just trying not to overdue it too because that is even worse.
