I have a question for those who have had two babies or more. If you didn't get stretch marks the first time, did you get them the second time? I'm curious! Thanks!

Ha! I am :-) cause how many more could I get? ;-P I gained 100 lbs in 1 year before thyroid diagnosed, cant get worse than that :-)

I got them bad and fully expect to get them again. Or really just have them reappear. Note - if you haven't had them before the itch like hell! I was NOT prepared for that last time. Regular lotion did nothing for me, I had to use actual itch cream.

I didn't get them with my first, and hoping not to with this one.

Just for info purposes, my BFF has three kids and has zero stretch marks at all.

It all depends on your skin.

You can prevent them by using Bio-Oil. My friend who has four kids swears by it!

This is my first but I already have stretch marks appearing on my breasts. They are large to start with though and now growing again so that may be why.

I didn't get any with my first and got a lot with my 2nd, which surprised me. I thought I was in the clear.

Seconding (thirding?  I lost track already... oops) the "it might be genetic."

My mom had a total of 4 pregnancies, 2 take home babies, one loss was in the second tri (the baby between me and lil bro).  She has ZERO stretch marks.  Cue the awkward I asked about stretch marks while pregnant with DD and my 54 year old mom lifted up her shirt and said "I have none, see?"  Not a moment I'd like repeated.  haha.

I didn't get any on my belly, but, as @ICarriedaWatermelon said, I got them big time on my boobs when my milk came in.  Like 24 hours A cups to double D cups.  Holy Toledo.

Baby number one I thought I was getting lucky. About 7 or 8 months in, I turned around and BOOM! I found where they were all hiding! My love handles (back side area). My tummy has one tiny mark about the size of a pea that is a stretch mark. Hoping it doesn't stretch this pregnancy. After giving birth I had so much excess water weight I had a few more added to my inner thighs. Other than the one on my tummy, my weight bounced back to normal after about a year/year and a half. Hoping I'm just as lucky this time but I'm jumping on the bio oil bandwagon just be safe. I've heard so many good things about it but I've also heard it's genetics and doesn't matter (although I'm the only thin one in a family of vuluptuous women.)
