Beta 2 is in ***BFP warning***

I have been on pins and needles all day.  I just got the call... Beta 2 is in at 2,156.  I am in complete shock!

Our ultrasound is scheduled for Jun 3rd, so I need to muster up a LOT of patience to wait and see.  My best friend will be visiting next week - Tues - Fri so that will be a good distraction (she knows all about treatments, does not know we finally got our BFP since we want to at least hear the heartbeat and get some tests done - but of course she may figure it out when I am suddenly drinking decaf and no longer drinking any wine!)

And since our numbers were so high (and tripled from Tues) I asked if there was a possibility of twins.  We only transferred 1 embryo, and we did not BD, so I never would think we would have twins but with the numbers I was curious.  Our nurse said that sometimes the blasts do split but they won't know until the ultrasound (I told her twins don't run in either family but apparently that doesn't have an impact with IVF).  So we wait and see.

THANK YOU ladies for being so supportive and wonderful.  I am going to continue to lurk here and post (as appropriate) until our u/s.  I hope to see all of you over on PAIF soon!

    Married 10/2007 TTC since 2013 
    IVF#1: Jan 2014 - Lupron trigger - due to high risk of severe OHSS; E2 at trigger - 6984  
    ER - 1/28 35 retrieved, 22 mature, 14 fertilized (ICSI) 
    ET - 2/2 cancelled due to mild OHSS 6 blasts frozen 
    FET #1: Mar 2014 - long lupron protocol 
    5/6/14 - Two blasts transferred, one hatching! 
    5/11 5dp5dt BFP! Beta #1 262 (9dp5dt), Beta #2 756 (13dp5dt), Beta #3 1738 (15dp5dt)
    6/3/14 - u/s showed one beautiful baby with a heartbeat of 123, EDD 1/19/15

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    We've been working on baby #1 since July 2013 using Open ID donor sperm.  8 IUI attempts with 5 actual IUIs and one chemical pregnancy.  We have one fresh IVF cycle under our belts as well as a FET.  I have endometriosis and a uterine septum that was corrected via surgery in November 2013. 

    11/14/14 -  Second HSG shows that tubes are still clear and ute is looking good. 

    12/6/14 - Started BCPs in prep for IVF #2

    12/22/14 - Saline u/s and endometrial scratch (All was clear and OUCH!)

    1/2/15 - Began stimming for IVF #2

    I didnt get to congratulate on this thread, so CONGRATS! :):)

    TTC since 11/11. 10 months natural= 10 BFN 8/12 First appt with RE 4 semen anaylsis later 1.9 million count, 21% motility and very poor morphology Me- bloodwork, 2 ultrasounds, HSG exam =I'm fine / 3 months of testosterone treatments = 3 more BFN DH bloodwork after 3 months treatment= no change/  

    RE says we can continue with hormone treatment for MIF, RE says we can try IUI but doesn't expect the results to be good based on severe MIF/ 

     IVFw/ICSI Cycle #1 1/11/13 Antagonist Protocol IVF Cycle #1 Canceled due to poor response and lead follicle problems. 1/18/13 started Provera to get body back to baseline / take a break to re-evaluate and recoop finances

    IVFw/ICSI Cycle #2 4/13/14 Supressed with Estrace for 7 days. / Started injections 4/22/14. Baseline -0 follicles  Started 75iu menapur/150iu follistim, morning and evening injections   ER- 8 Retrieved, 7M, 7F, 5/8 transferred2 Good 8 and 9 cell Embryos. Beta #1 at 11dp3dt  67! I'm pregnant! Beta #2 174! Ultrasound scheduled 6/6/14

    Ultrasound on 6/6 confirmed a singleton pregnancy and a heartbeat, although my iradic breathing would allow us to get the rate.  Second ultrasound measured great and got to hear he heartbeat!! 176 bpm Graduating to my OBGYN with our next appointment with them being 7/23/14

    IVF #1 October 2012 - Retrieved 8 eggs, 5 fertilized, 10/13/2012 Transferred 3 embryos - 8, 5, and 4 cells,     the other 2 eggs did not survive freezing, 10/26/2012 BFP!! Beta: 11, 10/26/12 Beta: 2 = Chemical Pregnancy
    IVF #2 - March 2014 - Mini IVF - Retrieved 5 eggs, 4 fertilized, 4 Frosties - 8, 9, 7, and 7 cells all in good condition.

    What days were your betas done on? I have really high betas too and I only transferred 1! I'm curious to see what's going on tin there. The good news is, if it's only one, it's a STRONG little one! lol My first u/s is 6/5. Loooong wait!

    @SKLH - Triggered on the 2nd, assume I O'd on the 4th.  5 day FET on the 8th.  if my math is right, Beta 1 (700) was on Tues 20th - 13dp5dt.  Beta 2 (2651) was on Thurs 22nd - 15dp5dt.

    I am seriously wondering what is going on in there.  Our ultrasound is 6/3 - and yes, it is a LONG wait.  Going crazy wondering.  Agreed - if it is one - it is a very strong one, which is awesome.  If it is two - while we weren't planning on it - as long as they are healthy and happy, that is great too.

    Good luck!  Feel free to PM me at any time.  @Amyou06 also has her u/s on the 5th.  Nice that there are several of us going through this at the same time for support!
