PNV's and hair/nails

I heard that PNVs were supposed to improve your hair and nails. My nails are terrible - really thin and break easily, so if the PNVs improve them it would be a really nice side effect. If you noticed a difference, how long did it take? I've only been taking them about 45 days.

I've been on PNV's for almost a year.  I have really crappy nails too, and at first the PNV's seemed to help. They grew out and were looking nice.  But then once I got pg it was like baby took all the nice nail vitamins away and now they're back to being crappy.

I've been taking mine about the same amount of time as you.  My nails were extremely brittle because I had acrylic on and then took them off before PNV..but they are growing out much quicker than they use too and they are much firmer where they have grown out..before they would break as soon as they got to the end of my finger/nail bed.

I don't know if it was the PNV but my hair is looking shinier and my hair and nails are growing faster it seems but it could be due to something else. I have just started to notice it and I have been on PNV for 4 months now

my nails used to break, bend and split. I think it was about a month or so that I noticed a difference. My nails grow faster and are alot stonger! No more peeling/splitting.

I took PNV when I first joined the Army b/c I wasn't getting the nutrients that I needed during basic training. I noticed a huge difference in my hair and healthy it got. This time around I can tell in my hair and in my nails.

hmm..maybe there is hope for my nails yet!! it would be nice if they stop peeling and breaking.

my nails were horrible - always peeling, splitting, etc and i also had acrylics on for a looong time. it was about after a month of being on PNVs that I noticed a difference. They are much stronger, thicker, never peel or split and they grow alot faster too.

I went through a phase where my hair and nails were really brittle a coule of years ago.  Trying taking Biotin.  You can find it in the vitamin aisle.  It really helped me alot!
