MOTN I'm up!!

Haven't had a post in awhile! I'm hoping it is because everyone's babies are sound asleep all night but I somehow doubt this! So who else is still up?
We seem to be going backwards. Abby started sleeping in her crib, what...like a month ago. She is a belly/side sleeper and at 3 months was able to roll to her side then fall onto her belly. Apparently, over the last week she has forgotten how to do this move and can't sleep!!! So she has been back on me for the most part. :( last night, after her 1am feeding, I put her in the crib and assisted her in flipping over and she slept until 6:30. Tonight, I assisted her again and she slept from 11pm-2am. She had her 4 months shots Tuesday afternoon so she was crabby and sleepy all day Wednesday for my mil.
Anywho, how does one forget how to roll over? Any other Lo's forget how to do something?

I'm up! LO went 7:30 to 2:30 so no complaints. I actually got up for some water then I heard him. I hope he goes till 6:30 that way I can just be up for the day and get stuff done while he sleeps in till 9. He likes to sleep in! Have a good night ladies. @precious72381‌ Sorry Abby is having trouble. Hoping it doesn't last long! Our 4 month wakeful period didn't. Just a few nights of BAD sleep.

  • @tristalips‌, my LO is teething too and it stinks! I may use some Tylenol tomorrow with him if he seems bad.

We are up. She looked like she was going right back down after eating, but nooooo her f-ing cough is back. It wakes her up every damn time. I'm so sick of these colds. They've been going on for a month and a half, and every time I think she's better, they ramp up again. I hate daycare with a passion.

  • I'm up! Baby is asleep! WTF is wrong with me???
  • For the first time ever (!!!!) DD had one motn feed and went back to sleep in her own bed. I got 2 stretches of 4 hours. Please let this be a new thing!

My DD definitely has forgotten how to roll over from belly to back. She was doing it a lot a few weeks ago and then just stopped. Now she just cries and flails during tummy time and I have to assist her in rolling over back onto her back. No back to belly yet, though.

My DD had this happen too. She is doing it again now but nowhere near as frequently as she used to. I think part of it for her is that she moves her arms during tummy time and can't always push over them depending on where they are positioned. The other part is that she is much more interested in looking around and trying to move now.

@km_md I think that is what's happening to her. She gets really frustrated that she can't propel herself forward, so she just gives up and cries. She's reaching for toys around her now so her arms aren't in a good position to roll over whereas before she kept her arms rested underneath her chest and just observed.
  • Ugh, DD went to bed at 9, woke up at 11, 2:30, 3, 4:30. It's 5 am here with DD in my arms snoozing.. my arms.. are falling asleep..

  • @RedSaffron‌ - I'm in the same boat! We've been going through some sort of growth spurt/sleep regression hell for about a month. 1-3 hour stretches of sleep are typical. 4 hours feels glorious. Ugh. Only 20 more work days and I'm on summer vacation. Do you SAH? I try to fit in one short nap with her each afternoon so I can function...

  • @tarajeannette‌ very typical. Haha DD slept 6 hours once, but I forgot when that was.

@tahloulah10‌ sleep regression sucks. I do stay at home, but I can't imagine working and being up with the baby.

  • @RedSaffron‌ - It sure does. DD is up tonight for the second time! Hopefully you're getting some sleep. Are you able to nap during the day? I never knew I could function on such little sleep!

  • @tahloulah10‌ We got to nap in the late morning and that was it haha. It's 10 pm right now so we shall see how it goes! I hope your LO sleeps after this one. Yikes!
