It's happened twice. Very light brown spotting, no cramping. I don't recall this happening in my first pregnancy. Would you recommend I call the doctor? My first appt is in two weeks. Thanks!
I had this happen to me last week on Saturday. Exactly 7 weeks pregnant. I went in for an u/s the day after & everything was great! I'm told this is common & some times happens when the placenta attaches to the wall.
No cramps & heavy bleeding are good signs. No one could tell me any different at the time but it worked out just fine.

Brown spotting is usually an indicator of old blood making its way out of your system. Nothing to worry about and pretty common. My doctor, however, did tell me she wanted to know if there was *any* spotting at all, even though she'd probably just say it's normal. You can call or email your doctor if you feel like you should, but it's likely totally standard.
I am stressing with the exact same thing yesterday and today. Twice yesterday I had a little brown-ish cervical fluid and then again once today. It was like beige. Weird. I'm 6w 2d today. I've read every google link that comes up and it seems common. Lol. Wishing sticky babies for both of us!
I agree with all of the above. It is pretty common but I would still call your doctor. I have had light to dark brown discharge off and on since I was 6 weeks and I am now 9 weeks. My doctor told me if it is not red or pink and I am not in any pain then it is probably just old blood making it's way out. Good luck!
