Should I do anything past my normal cleaning before I store my diapers? And think a plastic tote is ok? They'll be in a cool dry place.

I believe it is actually recommended to store in something not airtight, like cardboard instead of plastic.

I think you're supposed to strip them with blue dawn and cascade in your dishwasher, right?  Then soak in bleach in your bath tub.  Then machine dry on super hottest setting.

I think it depends on where you live as to how you store them.  Since I live in the desert I would probably store them in a plastic bin.  We have very little moisture that could be trapped.  I'd be more worried about dry rot of the elastic if they were stored in cardboard and heat damage to the elastic if stored somewhere with huge temp swings.

Yep. I started undies yesterday because she was holding herself naked. Ew. And she's getting it. I just need diapers for naps and night time. Two diapers a day? YESSSSS

I'm jealous!  I think E could be ready if we were in a better place to work harder with her.  She has peed on the potty, she knows when she needs to go, and she hates to be wet.  But it's getting so hard for me to get down on the floor to clean up messes, and everyone keeps telling me she's going to regress after the baby is born.  Hopefully soon.

you can do just not stressful potty training only when she wants then after the baby is here you can do hardcore training. It'll be easier. That's sort of what we did with Dax.

That's what we are doing right now.  And the nanny is great... she has E sit on the potty with each diaper change whether she has already peed or not, just to help her associate.  And we let her sit on it whenever she asks.  She just keeps peeing on the floor next to the potty!  So close kid, so close.
