When did you stop? Why? How was the transition? Did you do one arm in and one out, or just go straight to both arms out?
LO sleeps sooooo much better swaddled. She's only 7 weeks now, so I don't need to stop yet, but I"m already wondering how that transition will go. We had her in the crib from the first week, so she's been sleeping the same way since then. Any advice or experience to share?
Re: If you've stopped swaddling...
I haven't swaddeled for a few weeks, all gone smoothly, stopped bc Levi didn't like his arms down by his sides, see picture /my avatar.. that's how he always sleeps and prefers it.
I'm an older mom and probably have some older mom ideas/habits but I don't get the swaddeling hype..
He didn't need it anymore. With my daughter I had her in a woombie and when she started to roll, I would do one arm out until she was completely out of it.
I found this and he loves it. I just ordered the next size up to keep using. He's 8 weeks.

None of my kids have been swaddled other than when the nurses did it at the hospital.
I've always just used blankets.
Someone gave me sleep sacs when I had DS1, but he didn't seem very fond of them and I found them awkward for nighttime burping and diaper changes.
I'm old fashioned...keep the new-fangled stuff outta my house.
