After my post yesterday, I was up every 30 minutes last night to check on DD (even with the video monitor!) and had terrible dreams that she stopped breathing. Talk about anxiety!! DH and I decided it wasn't worth worrying about it, especially since she really seems to like squishing her little face up against it.
I feel much better and she is up there napping without it no problem. But I loved that darn thing! Any ideas on how else I can use it in the nursery? I don't really want to alter it because I might decide put it back in when she is a bit older and the SIDS risk is lower.?

Re: so I took out the bumper...
We have the Baby Sense Monitors in our cribs which go off if there is no movement detected for 20 seconds. This is a great piece of mind, we love having them to alert us if there is any kind of problem.
