Well, I had 8 hours between sex and my water breaking, but active labor waited. Has to be some close ones out there.

I had sex at 10:45 p.m and my water broke around 1 hour and 45 minutes later at 12:30 a.m. Unfortunately, Harper refused to vacate for 26 hours.

DH has the magic stick.

Had sex 10am (ish), water broke at 3:30pm and Eli made his grand entrance at 10:31pm. This was after months of pelvic rest then being too exhausted once we were cleared at 37weeks. 39weeks and I was ready to encourage baby to come so I jumped on the "magic stick" so to speak.

ETA: so about 12hrs

Baby was born by c section at 7:17 pm,

So a little under 5 hours.
