If you have any spare thoughts/prayers, my MIL is in the hospital. She has cancer and went in last night cause she was in an extreme amount of pain. They maxed out her pain meds at one hospital and she had to be transferred to another hospital. They found a new spot of cancer in her spine. They are keeping her in the hospital until they figure out what to do (probably surgery). At this point they are considering it an emergency and are worried about paralyzation.  Thank you in advance!

(Update)  She escaped surgery for now.  She has to do 14 radiation treatments and they will see what the tumor looks like after that.  If the radiation doesn't help then she will have to have surgery.  Her pain is under control for now.  Thank you for all you thoughts!
