Yes unfortunately I am over the last two weeks. Just when I thought it stopped for good. I agree, it's not as bad as the first tri but throwing up is throwing up it still sucks! :((

Yes but I'm on meds, I tried to get off of it last week and was nauseated and throwing up all day. Am going to try every two weeks now. I'm 17 weeks.

me. too.  It sucks so hard.  I had four really great days and thought I was finally turning the corner when BLAM!  It reared its ugly head this morning.  Right now, I am also experiencing bad headaches, too.  Sigh.  I love this little guy, but damn!

I did my whole pregnancy with dd. I actually threw up on the hospital floor while in labor because there wasn't a nurse around to give me a bucket. I felt bad but they understood.

My mom told me that she was sick the entire 9 months with me :((
My dr won't put me on meds. He tells me to rest and drink fluids! Thanks doc. Hopefully we will get some reprieve at some point....

My nausea has pretty much stopped now but I still vomit occasionally WITH NO WARNING!  Although I am delighted to see the back of the nausea it is annoying because I never have any clue whether a meal is going to stick so I can't really eat in public.  I also find myself scoping out every room I walk into for places to puke in case of an emergency.  So far I have been pretty lucky and made it to a bathroom almost every time.  I keep a "barf kit" in my purse though just in case (bag, wipes, travel bottle of mouthwash).  Here's hoping these babies treat their mom's right when they grow up, we deserve it!  Feel better soon :)

I am just about 16 weeks and I still feel nauseous most days.  I feel much better than I did in the first tri but still gross. Everyone keeps telling me it will get better.....I hope it does because I am waiting for that amazing second tri feeling and all that energy I keep hearing about!

@tamibattle I was really hesitant to get on meds. I was first prescribed zofran and only took 1 pill. Then my doc prescribed Diclegis. It's a class A drug so it's pretty safe. Maybe ask your doc about that if you are still sick. They might not of considered that. My doctor only offered it later because they said it was new in prescription form and have moved to that since prescribing me zofran the first time, It's unisom and b6.

Edit: well as safe as you can get with meds....

I'm still doing lots of gagging, especially first thing in the morning, but no vomiting since about 13 weeks (I'm 16w6d). I have a feeling that my occasional gagging will continue to the end, since it seems to be caused by hunger in the morning, and a whiff of something unpleasant! My nose is ridiculous.

I wonder why the doctor won't prescribe meds? I know MANY people who have taken them without any complications. I'm not personally taking them, but my vomiting was not severe.

Im glad to see that I'm not alone, not that I wish m/s or nausea on anyone. I was really anticipating a smooth sailing 2nd tri... Hang in there ladies, it will all be worth it in October!!
