Bigger difference in heart rates @ 10 weeks?

I've been so good about not sweating the small things during our ultrasounds, but today I think I'm giving in to the crazy. 

So, we've been having weekly ultrasounds w/ OB and, until today, the twins' heart beats were pretty close to one another. Today at 10 weeks 3days, however, they were 20 bpm apart (173 and 153). I asked the sonographer if that was normal and she said it was. 

I'm sure I'm just worrying for nothing, but did this happen to anyone else?

Their HR's are going to be all over the place! You'll see them go from 120 - 160. They are 2 different people. HR's are not going to be the same

As above poster said. Some wives takes will say it would mean one of each sex but of course just a tale and nothing to make sure that is correct till AS

My HRs have been as far apart as 115 and 155 and of course I was scared by OB told me not to worry. I've had them be within a few beats of each other at the high risk OB and then two days later be really far apart at the regular OB. OB says one just happens to be sleepy.I know it's really hard but try not to worry!!

Thank you all for your comments and for putting up with my crazy! I feel better. It makes sense because B was also more active than Baby A, so he/she must've just been having a little workout in there.

Today at my cervical length/amniotic fluids check, my girls were 20 bpm apart, and I'm 25 weeks.  You're fine!

Our have been all over the place, sometimes within 5 of each other sometimes as far away as 20.  My OB said it could be one sleeping and the other active when there are larger differences.  As long as they were within the acceptable range, my OB said it was fine.

The heart rates will go up with them moving.  There was one time they took the HR and it was 180 and she could tell I was worried so she took it again 30 seconds later and it was 155.

yup - what everyone else said.   Ours have always been within about 15 BPMs of each other on the u/s but on the doppler the other day we had one at 136 and the other at about 150.   As long as they're both over 120 I wouldn't even worry about it.
