Pregnancy symptoms a week after period finished? Misacrraige 2 months ago

Hey everyone,

 

So I had a natural miscarriage at 6 weeks with my first 2 months ago today. My DH and I talked and we wanted to start trying again soon. I had my first period (Which wasn't heavy or clotty like the doctors and nurses told me it should be, it was normal) since the miscarriage 2 weeks ago but I shouldn't ovulate until this wed. But what is weird is for the past few weeks I feel pregnant again.. I'm exhausted, moody, hungry, constipated, my breast aren't sore but they feel "off" and I have a little but of nausea. I know I cant be pregnant cause its way to soon, but I only felt all of these symptoms when I was pregnant with my first... Oh and I took a pregnancy test a few days before my period and it came out negative.

 

What could cause this?

yea I was charting cause my DH and I were having issues with our first. It took us 3 year to get pregnant. I usually ovulate on day 16 which should be Wednesday. I know I might be a lil paranoid cause of what happened.

First- I'm sorry about your loss!

Second- Miscarriages  can really screw up your hormones and subsequently your menstrual cycle for a while. It's really great that you're charting because that will give you some information about your cycle as things start to return to normal again. While it's not completely impossible for you to get pregnant a month after a miscarriages, the chances are small. I'd wait another month to see if you get your period that month, and if not, just take a test. You can also start testing, but with no perfect way to base ovulation off, it'll be hard to know if it's too early or if you're actually not pregnant.

I'm so sorry for your previous loss. It's definitely very hard to go through.

I'm no expert but I'll speak from my own experience...

I had a natural miscarriage on February 1st of this year at 5 weeks. DH and I took it very easy during the month of February. After following my normal 31 day cycle and missing my next due period, I found out that I conceived again two weeks after the miscarriage. We got a BFP on March 4th. I was so concerned because it happened so soon after but my doctor said some women have increased fertility after an early miscarriage because it takes less time for the HCG levels to lower. Once the level reaches 0, ovulation occurs. So...it is possible that you could be pregnant again and your "period" was bleeding from the pregnancy (although unlikely). I would wait to see if you're late and if so buy a pregnancy test.

I have no idea, but if you think you are pregnant then take an HPT. I'm sorry for your loss but this is a fishing expedition. We can't tell you what's going on. Your doctor can actually examine you.

My body was screwy after my MMC in January. I was still experiencing pregnancy symptoms after the fact for a couple weeks. I would wait it out and take a HPT sometime later next week.
