Hi Ladies! We are scheduled for ET tomorrow at 11:30 am. I'm excited and nervous. I'm trying to prepare myself for how hard the 2ww is going to be. My plan is to go beta or bust but I can be impatient sometimes, so we'll see if I actually make it (beta #1 is 5/15). GL to everyone who is already in the 2ww!

QOTD: is it sad that I can't remember the best date I've ever been on? My husband and I need to start planning actual dates instead of just hanging out when we have a day off together!

ETA: Why do I always forget the QOTW? My favourite date was our first dinner date. He asked me what I wanted and I said "Indian" but he'd never had it before. I was new to the city, so he took me to a restaurant that he'd seen downtown. Turns out it was FANTASTIC! We used to go back about once a week, and even after being a away for a few years, they still know our names It was also the first time that we really got to know each other in person. That restaurant holds a special place in our hearts. We even invited our favourite waiter and his family to our wedding! (We used to go about once a week.)

We are PUPO over here!  ET was Friday and went off without a hitch.  Little Penguin thawed perfectly and went in as quite the expanded blast.  We know she is a girl because of CCS.  We wanted to be surprised, but being that she was the only normal girl, we had to transfer her so that if she's not successful we can cycle again while my eggs are as young as they can get so we can get our girl.  DH dubbed her "lumpy" because she basically looked like a lumpy peanut.  It this works, I'm sure she'll really appreciate that nickname.  All weekend long I felt crampy and weird and was convinced it took, but now today things have subsided a bit, which of course makes me nervous.  Beta is Sunday, but we will POAS cause DH is a firefighter on 24 hour shift Sunday and I don't want to get that news, either way, at the fire station.  I'm hoping that being at work will help the time pass more quickly.  But where am I this AM?  On TB and consulting with Dr. Google! 

QOTD: Not sure it's the best ever, but DH and I recently went to our local art museum.  They had a special exhibit of samurai artifacts, both military and artistic.  First time he was ever willing to go to the art museum and we both had a wonderful time, with the special exhibit and the permanent collection.  But we're nerds like that.

QOTD- can you count our engagement as a date? We were in Europe and he surprised me with a weekend in Bavaria. We stayed at a b&b, got engaged at a castle, and overall it was amazing.

Finished up my BCP over the weekend, and went in for baseline BW/US this morning. All looks good and I start my Del Estrogen injections today. I love that they are only every 3rd day...my ass is grateful for that at least until the PIO injects start. lol Just counting down the days til 5/23!!

QOTD: Everything is so set around trips, anniversaries or holidays now, that I cant remember the last time I had a really phenomenal date. Guess this gives me an excuse to go make a pretty cool date with DH!

AFM our FET is in 2 days! We fly out tomorrow morning, do our transfer on Wednesday, and then fly back Thursday afternoon. They decided to thaw our 6 day 2 embryos and grow them to blast, if we don't get 2 blasts, they will thaw our 3 frozen blasts and refreeze what we don't transfer. I don't think I will get any updates until I go in on Wednesday, so right now I am just crossing my fingers that all of our embies are growing and that at least 2 make it to blast.

QOTD: I can't think of an awesome date. I'll update if I can think of one.

AFM: I triggered on Friday, start Crinone tomorrow and our ET is scheduled for Thursday.  We are only transferring one this time (first FET, risk of twins is significantly higher than the success rate of transferring 2 vs 1.  We are ok with twins but are afraid of the potential risks involved so to start we will just transfer 1 and hope he/she sticks!).  Beta would be around the 19th.  Will definitely be beta or bust.

QOTD: hmm - I think our favorite date would be the one when he (DH) told me he had fallen in love with me.  We were living in different cities at the time.  I had come up to visit him for the weekend.  We had been hanging out at his place and then went to a great seafood restaurant for dinner.  We were having a great time chatting, laughing and he looks at me and tells me that he has fallen in love with me.  It was in the most natural / nonchalant way - which is very him.

I was hoping I could join your group, coming over from the April Snuggle Bunnies.
Here is my info:

Me: 36, DH: 35 TTC since 12/11
Unexplained and DH has great counts/motility
1st IVF
4 unsuccessful IUIs
ER 4/29 10 retrieved, 8 mature, 6 fertilized naturally
ET 5/2 3dt 2-8cell transferred, great quality with little fragmentation. 2-6 cell to freeze
Currently in the 2ww, beta on May 14th

I'm on CD1 early after estrogen and 3 days of ganirelix.  Luckily I got some of my stims approved and they're shipping to arrive tomorrow.  Then I'll start stims of 600IU gonal-f and 50IU of low dose HCG tomorrow night.  Not sure I'm excited or not at this point.  Just glad to get it started up again but not expecting anything.  The estrogen patches are really kicking my butt.  The meds don't usually affect me so much so maybe it's a good thing?

I'm 4dp5dt and it sucks. This is the part where I wish I had those magical ute goggles to know what's going on in there. We did find out that I still have $5000 left in infertility insurance so I can start thinking about another retrieval if this fails. Beta is on the 14th but I won't make it without POAS.

My best date ever was a spur of the moment hike at Great Falls National Park and dinner my now-husband took me on. He had gotten the ring in the mail 20 minutes before he dragged me out because he couldn't wait to give it to me.

@Jaztaz1- its the small victories lol

Afm- we had our final consult today and got our protocol and schedule! We're doing an antagonist protocol with 150 gonal-f and 75 menopur. Seeing as we haven't tried injects yet, I'm curious to see how I respond. I'll stop bcps on Sunday and start injects that week.

I'm getting more excited than I'd like to- I'm happy because this is going to be our best shot so far, but I know if we get a bfn, it's going to be harder to take so I don't want to get "too pumped up".:-S

QOTW- It was one of our first dates. We went to dinner than went to dave and busters for drinks and games. It was nice to do something fun and different, and it makes me smile when I think back to DH trying to do DDR

Day 12 of Lupron... I was going to call my RE to tell her that AF still hasn't started, but then got some very light bleeding first thing this morning. From what I have read, it can be pretty light after the Lupron, so I'm guessing this is probably it. Going in tomorrow in any case for some bloodwork and then will likely be starting stims. 

@jessimi06 I know how you feel... My first IVF got cancelled before ER, so this is sort of like my first. I'm excited to start again, but am so anxious and nervous that something will go wrong again... and of course the chance of going all the way through and then getting a BFN. I'm going to try to take it one step at a time, which is hard because I'm such a planner.

Hi ladies, still chugging along on stims. Went in for my second monitoring u/s and I was disappointed to see only 8 follies. I know he wants to take things slow and prevent OHSS this time but that's much less than my previous cycles. I just really hope there is one healthy one in there this time!

AFM - I started BCP last week.  I stop taking pill in a week and half.  Not much to report for me!

QOTD - My favorite date was Chinese food for dinner while sitting by our fire pit.  We love to just sit and have a glass of wine with the fire pit.  So relaxing and fun!

Hi all. I don't really have anything new to report... Other than I was a total ditz and forgot my Lupron shot this morning. Oops. Just got off the phone with my nurse & have a plan in place to make it up. I just feel so silly. Never spaced a shot before. Nurse isn't too concerned, though. In fact, she just laughed and said it happens to all of us at some time. So... Shot when I get home, another at midnight, then back on track tomorrow. *sigh*

FX for everyone in the 2ww and those getting ready to transfer!

I'm 3dp5dt. We're definitely going to test before our beta (which is a week from today) so I tested this morning and the trigger is completely gone. I'm not sure when I will test again. Last cycle I waited until 8dp5dt, but I guess we'll just see how I feel this time.

QOTD: I'm not sure if I'd say it was our best date ever, but one memorable date was one we had after we were married. We were both working on Friday so we made plans to meet each other at a restaurant. I don't know why, but it just made it feel more romantic to meet each other there. I guess because it was different from our normal routine.

QOTD: Is it awful if my most memorable date wasn't with DH? I love spending time with DH, but in highschool a boyfriend coordinated with my mom (and his) to get me up before dawn. He took me down to the lakefront and we had breakfast by candlelight and sunrise on the water. It was really sweet.

I am 8dp3dt, and I did not get my period today, score! This morning I woke up with a very bad feeling. All morning long my heart was racing and I had difficulty breathing, and I was feeling very moody and simply awful. I felt like either I was going to have my period or it was the pregnancy hormones. Nothing else would explain the feelings and swings I was going through. I went to the restroom at work maybe 25 times today just to check whether I have any bleeding. Suddenly I have a lot of discharge today but no bleeding thankfully. This 2ww totally sucks!

Good luck with ET @‌puzzlefuz @Twinkie0612 @Lady2010‌ Fingers Xed @SuperPsi @ExoticAntibiotic‌ @Milagros315‌ @zeynsom‌ Send everyone else positive vibes too I started daily monitoring yesterday. As of today I have 3 follies at 17, a bunch between 12-15 and the rest are small. We were able to get my left side to respond, as it didn't do much during my IUI cycles so that's hopeful. I still look on track for ER on either Fri/Sat/Sun. QOTD: Years ago I got (now) hubby a hot air balloon ride for his birthday. Something you don't do every day and so much fun. Wish I lived in an area where hot air ballooning is popular and had a yard big enough for them to randomly land in.

I Had my ER on Saturday and scheduled for a 5 day transfer on Thursday. Trying to get excited, but struggling with some OHSS now.

QOTD: One of my favorite 'days' was the day my DH proposed. It was on a beach in Bermuda and so romantic. We later went on to marry there!

Hello Blossoms - I am moving over from April Bunnies.  I will trigger tonight at 11:30 - trying to stay up but this is difficult.  ER is Wednesday 5/7.  

Want to let @Spring78 know that I went to the RE this morning at 6:30.  I completely forgot to take my Ganirelex and Gonal -F.  Whoops!  Didn't even realize that I forgot until I left the RE and on the way to work.  I went home to take the injects (obviously) and then got a call that I left my iPad at the RE.  I'm a complete moron and it is getting worse by the minute.  I didn't get to work until 9 and felt like I got hit by a truck.  

QOTD - I am too much of a moron right now to think.  I'll catch you on the next QOTW.

Hi Blossoms!  I had my lining check yesterday and we are all set to transfer!  Our transfer is scheduled for next Wednesday.  I'm so nervous.  After a failed FET, I'm trying not to get too excited this time around.  PIO starts Friday and I have one more check the day before the transfer.

QOTD: I can't think of a particular date that stands out.  I guess we need to work on that!

Hey blossoms! I'm just trucking along in the 2ww which SUCKs! Beta is set for next Wed the 14th but we'll POAS the night before.

@CallaLily30‌ just curious how much PIO you're on for your FET amd if you will stay on it or switch to different type of progestrone. I was supposed to go on Endometrin 4x a day but opted for PIO instead. My RE said 1mL but I just feel like that's not equivelant to 4 suppositories a day.

QOTD - we're terrible date people, not one really stands out too much.

Hey ladies I had my ER last Thursday and out of the 22 retrieved 12 fertilized (waiting on the freeze report), we are doing a freeze all because the RE correctly suspected I would probably get OHSS and my progesterone levels were too high. My FET#1 should be either late May or early June.

QOTD: When we were still dating DH and I went horseback riding followed by a romantic dinner - it was really nice.  However I actually think my favorite dates are when we go to the drive in theater - we sit in the bed of the truck snuggled in blanket under the stars watching movies... and eating lots of junk food lol

9dp3dt and still no period! Score! I am having all the signs of my period but no bleeding so far. 2 1/2 more days to beta. I have the sticks but I am too scared to POAS. I'll do it maybe on Thursday, the day before the beta.

@runforcookies‌ I take 1mL of PIO for FET cycles, too. It metabolizes differently; you need to take more Endometrin to make up the difference.

Busy week or could of weeks coming up.

Still waiting.  I hate the fact that my office doesn't call in with test result in timely manner but we are going to have a talk on Friday if they expect me to pay them $32K. 

Sorry for the mini rant...

I'm trying to stay busy.  Walking, hiking, cooking, got Child of Light on PS4(fun!!!).

I am also discovering mild PTSD from my many losses.  It is not pretty.  I am managing but it is a sad discovery.

I'm post something more positive after my visit with RE on Friday.  I hope I'll have something positive to share.

Good luck to all planting the seeds this week and those who go through beta hell.  Hang in there!  Babies are coming!

Hi ladies I had my WTF appt yesterday for My cancelled IVF round. We decided to try on our own and see if a miracle happens. I'll be going in for a beta on Saturday just to be sure either way and will probably expect AF early next week. Then back to stimming for IVF #2 with my ER/ET 3rd ish week in May! @runforcookies I started out on 1 ml of PIO and then they had me up it to 1.5 ml a few days before transfer.

I had a very interesting and vivid dream last night. I was pregnant with twins and was trying to give birth to them. The first one popped out just like that but the second one was not coming out. The doctors (and of course the doctors were from Grey's Anatomy) tried every trick but could not get the second one out. They told me to go home with that one baby and come back in a couple of months to get the second baby out. I woke up with my legs open in the push position. In my dream I was pushing and pushing really hard and I guess I was doing the same thing in the bed last night! Weird!
