Favorite aplix/h&l covers?

Hi. Me again. Sorry, this is going to be long... I'm less than 2 weeks from my EDD and my indecisive-ness is raging and I'm going crazy.

Background: I'm really not liking my RaR OS covers I bought for DD1 (~26lbs). They are really saggy in the bum and won't lay flat in the front (I've tried both the mid and large rise). I think it's b/c I'm just throwing a basic cloth insert in, rather than using a bulkier prefold/fitted underneath. :-(

So now I want to try another type of cover that would work well with the inserts I have (gCloth and HappyEndings charcoal bamboo). Don't want to spend more than $15 on a cover to avoid "the look" from DH.

The caviat: we (mostly DH) hate snaps, so aplix is much preferred.

Looking at Thirsties Duo wraps (both sizes I guess?), Best Bottoms, and Flip.

So give me your reviews and tell me what to order please!

Yeah, I saw and liked the Capri, but just can't justify the $20 at the moment.

I vote Thirsties Duo with new Aplix. Size 2 started fitting for us in the 16-18 pounds range if that helps.

Flip aplix is awful.

Best Bottoms has nice aplix, but those covers run pretty small. They may not last until training if your LOs are on the higher %-iles for size. (Full disclaimer: I've never used them because DD is a bigger kid so I knew pretty early on that these wouldn't last us to training. I'm glad I didn't get them because she even outgrew the rise of Flip covers before training).

Love love love the new Thirsties aplix.

Im not impressed with my BB aplix. Just ordered some thirsties duo covers, loved our size ones, looking forward to trying size two with aplix. I believe they are still on sale at target.com 15% off when you buy two.

Thirsties new aplix is good. I'm a Blueberry Coverall in aplix fan though. I now have 6 of them and I don't use covers on the reg.

I love these too, but they are huge! So if your LO is under say 20 pounds they'll be baggy with your thinner inserts. The mini coveralls are nice to. I think they go up to 15-18 pounds-ish.

We love our Blueberry Coverall covers in aplix, and like our Thirsties covers with the new aplix.

Ok I did it. I ordered 2 Thirsties covers from target. A size 1 and a size 2. Both in blackbird (so the girls can match of course!). Can't wait to try them out :-)
