The last name is 3 syllables with a ick-son
Both Middle names have family meaning.
Thoughts on Luke? Not my favorite but growing on my but I dislike its popularity.

  • Love Luke!

I have a Lucas NN Luke. I was really, really uncomfortable with how popular it is until he showed up 6 weeks early and forced a decision. But ultimately I didn't want to not use the only name we could agree on that we both really liked, just because other people like it too. If you're not sure about it *and* not comfortable with popularity, maybe keep looking, but if you love it then Luke meeting another Luke or Luke Lastinitial is not the end of the world.

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts!

We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
  • I have a Luke. I was hesitant to use the name for the same reason, but it was the only name my husband and I could agree on. He's 6 months and I'm happy I went with this name. It fits him. We haven't met another Luke yet, just a Lucas. I like Luke Joseph just a little better. Both great choices.
