A friend of mine had a baby an hour ago, very excited for her, but she has already posted a ton of pics on FB of him. I think people should lay of the social media for at least a few hours after their baby is born. I get your excited, but put your phone down and enjoy the newness!

After what happened a few days ago, I think the US should do away with the death penalty. A botched execution is just so gross and unacceptable.

I don't understand the FB vs TB fued. I am trying to see both sides. But does it matter where people post? I am more of a lurker here and a poster there. I was made not to feel very welcome here and I made a choice.

Most of these people who are put to death are murderers/rapists, etc so I really don't have sympathy for them. Call me heartless but that's how I feel. The one guy who was set to be executed after the one you are referencing raped and then killed a 11 month old so if the same happened to him I really wouldn't care.

While I think it is horrible the execution was botched and the system (and method) needs to be fixed, I couldn't make myself feel bad for the executed prisoner when I found out what he did that landed him on death row. This is probably because my BIL's cousin and his cousin's wife were brutally murdered and I watched what the surviving family went through. I just don't have sympathy for that kind of cruelty.

All of this. And what @ilovemarfa said too. What those people did was gross and unacceptable. I have no sympathy.

On the lines of car decals I don't like the stick figures to represent the family. I think this has been said before.

Hahaha! It is a phish reference. I'll PM it to you. It's the name of his favorite song! We randomly get honked at and stopped by phans who see our car! I've been to shows where I've overheard people say "did you see the ______ plate in the lot? I wish I'd've thought of that!!"

This is going to haunt me

( I can't stand it when innocent babies and children are hurt like this. It makes me sick. Especially with N in the picture now. Canada doesn't have a death penalty and you seriously get less time for murder than most other crimes. It's ridiculous. I've always been a supporter of the death penalty. I think it has it's purpose but needs to be more strict so that nobody that is innocent gets put to death.

Also, I love Oreos (hated them before I got pregnant, weird) and M&Ms. I'd do almost anything for the starburst minis right now, stupid diet.

I don't mind repeat questions but being on a new BMB makes me hate some of them. I think because so many of them can be researched very easily and you get the same questions more than once a day. The other posts with the same question haven't even left the first page yet. Those annoy me. The repeats we get here, don't. They aren't ridiculous and are more like, 'is your kid doing this too?'
