Hormonal Birth Control and Fussiness?

Does anyone have any experience or ever heard of hormonal birth control creating fussiness in baby during feedings? I started taking the mini pill last Wednesday and as of Saturday we have had a horrible time with feedings! LO starts out nursing well for about 10 minutes. Then she starts screaming, coughing, gulping, pulling away. We had a 2 hour feeding tonight because all she could do was constantly cry and unlatch, yet she was hungry and wanted to eat. I thought it sounded like a forceful letdown, but she also does this at daycare with bottles. I know this can be common at 6-8 weeks anyway according to Kellymom (LO is 8 weeks Friday), but I cannot figure out what is wrong! I'm sure it's not thrush or acid reflux as LO rarely spits up and sleeps flat all night long without issue. I saw on Kellymom that some mothers have noticed decreased fussiness after they went off hormonal birth control, so thought maybe that is the issue?

Edit: It seems like we just had a post similar to this but I couldn't find it!
