We decided to start trying mid April and figured it could be right away or it could take awhile but after 2 weeks of trying I took a test (and 3 more tests after that) and I was pregnant! We are unbelievably excited and i'm honestly a little surprised at how fast it happened for us but we feel so fortunate and although a little nervous with this being our first we are just so thrilled!
I consider us very fortunate in this department. For DS it only took 2 cycles of trying. With him I didn't do anything special and it really was just dumb luck. For this one, it ended up taking 3 cycles. I did decide to temp and chart this time around. I was really just curious when everything was happening in there. I ovulate later than I ever thought, so I think it did help to learn that about my cycles.
This time, 2 months. The first month/cycle, I didn't really do anything. No temping or anything like that. The second time, I temped/charted, drank green tea (which is disgusting btw), ate pineapple after my ovulation date.
Me: 33 DH: 31 DD: 10 (born August 2004) Married 03/01/14 TTC#2 BFP: 05/17/2014 EDD: 1/25/15 MMC: 06/30/2014
6 months for first pregnancy which ended in MC. 2 months for second pregnancy. Didn't do anything for first. For second I drank a lot of tea that is said to help with fertility.
Off bc when I got married April 2013. Used "pull out" method until April of this year when we started trying, pregnant first cycle. I used an ovulation app but didn't know my exact cycle length so it was luck we got the timing right the first time!
3 1/2 long years. Thanks to the miracles of science and an IUI, we are so incredibly blessed to be expecting our two little beans. I think we love them even more because of what we've been through, and although emotionally tortuous, wouldn't change a thing.
PCOS--TTC since 11/2010:
5 cycles of Clomid: all BFN, 1 cycle of Follistim:CP
1 year break thanks to deployment.
1 cycle Follistim: BFN, Lap to remove peritubal cyst May 2013
2 cycles Follistim + trigger: BFN, Gonal F +IUI April 2014: BFP!!!!!!
Ours was a surprise. We werent trying but werent using methods not too either. We just got married in November so its all really fast and scary and exciting.
About 45 seconds, Dh was supposed to pull out and didn't time it right....oh wait, is that what you meant?
DS1- off the pill 1 cycle, pregnant next cycle with temping & OPKs DS2- 1 post partum period at 13 months, pregnant next cycle with temping & OPKs Baby 3- 2 post partum periods, we were using condoms, literally one time we decided not to....

I have been trying every since I got married, which has been 13yrs, but there was times I did not try, but this year I started back trying and which was a rocky start, I say it took about 3 months. Now God has bless me to conceive for the very first time. I am so thankful to Him.
15 months, diagnosed with Hashimotos and PCOS in NOV 2013. Three rounds of clomid previous to conceiving, this baby was our first IUI with clomid, ovidrel, and prometrium. After so many BFN it was a shock, told DH the week before I thought it didn't work and I wanted to take a break. Feel very very blessed.
We weren't trying. We weren't NOT trying either. My doctor said that it would be difficult for me to conceive again so we decided not to go on BC in fear that it would just make things that much more difficult when we were ready again. Well ready or not here comes #2!! We are very excited and feel lucky we have a 7 month old right now so we're looking at a 15mo spread.. Crazy! But exciting
8 months, mc, now first cycle after the mc. Honestly, I think we were doing it wrong. I have wonky cycles and don't think I was using the opk sticks properly, for timing. This is our last though, so I won't ever get to test that theory. Dd was either the week before our wedding or a wedding night baby! Lol.
BFP 01/17/2014, Due 10/05/2014, MMC, we said goodbye 03/07/2014
I went off the pill feb 25. I wasn't tracking so I have no idea when I ovulated. 41 days after I got off I had bleeding I thought was my period but it was implantation bleeding. So I didn't take a test till I was 6 weeks along because I though it was a period! Woops.
DS1 we had after the first month of ntnp. Stopped preventing again in January and got pregnany right away, but lost the little at 5 weeks. Three months later and here we are.
Pregnancy Week 15: You obviously made it to home, congrats! Your baby is the size of a baseball.
It took us 6 months. We had just went to a fertility doctor and were nervous about going through the various procedures. We found out we were pregnant a couple of weeks later before doing any procedures.
Not much. I had just slowed down significantly from BF'ing our baby who was born last August. We decided we wouldn't try to stop it and would see what happens. I did use conceive plus because of dryness. That's it.
We were lucky to get pregnant on our first cycle trying. My period is pretty regular, so I was estimating O (no temping/charting). Was on prenatals and had stopped bc in September.
When DH looks at me I am instantly pregnant. No the first time 2 months after removing my mirena. We weren't preventing but were not specifically trying either. This time I stopped breast feeding and bam I am pregnant. After this healthy baby comes home he is getting the old snipparoo
10 months. I went back on birth control in March and April to even out my levels per my primary doctor. Stopped bc at the end of April and got prego in May! I'm so thankful for my doctor for taking the time to help me without seeing a specialist or anything.
We just got married March 20, 2014 and we weren't trying yet, but not using birth control. I downloaded a few period tracker apps. We got pregnant the first time we had unprotected sex at the last day of my fertility window. We discovered we are both very fertile. We are excited!
We weren't trying to conceive but we were officially not TTA for about 2 months. . .if that makes sense. We were charting using the Creighton method to avoid and then we stopped charting. We didn't think we would get pregnant so quickly.
The only thing we did "special" to get pregnant was make love/have sex. No prenatal vitamins, laying upside down and backwards, special diet, etc. We know we are very fortunate.
3 months since I stopped taking BCPs. We decided just to have fun and not take TTC too seriously for a while. I thought we were totally out last month because we weren't too active. But, surprise! I got a BFP. I feel very fortunate and my heart goes out to all of the mommas who have had such struggles to get their miracles.
First time pregnant it took 8+ months but ended in MMC, second time pregnant (successful pregnancy) it took 3 months.

Re: How long did it take you?
DD and this one was first try. I've been very fortunate to have regular 26 day cycles and no other issues.

First month. I am still kind of in disbelief.
The first was a cp. I consider myself incredibly lucky.
