How many times a week do you cook dinner (last meal of the day - I know dinner and supper are used in different regions)?

I try to cook at least 3x a week, my new goal is 4.  I don't cook on weekends and Friday evening counts as the weekend so... :)

H is a better cook than I am. He cooks and I wash up. We eat out a few times a week, particularly on the weekends.

I really wish I was a better cook, but every time I try it all goes to hell.

Usually about 4.  I make enough for leftovers some nights, DH cooks once or twice a week (more in the summer, since he likes grilling), and we go out or get take out or have dinner at my parents' house once every week or two weeks.

Usually 5-6. Otherwise we eat with my parents or his or we go out to dinner. We live across the street from a family restaurant and since LO was born, we pick up dinner from there instead of eating out.

I voted SS. If cooking means by scratch then 1/week. If cooking is rather and assembly of items (whole foods deli + fresh veggies) then 3-4/week.
DH hates the smell of cooking and doesn't want to help in any way, so I get free reign to put dinner together how I see fit. If he didn't care as much is probably cook more.

Probably 3-4x.  I'm working to get it up to 6, with one 'out' night per week but with us always being behind on dishes it's tough.

I always wonder, what do people eat when they don't cook every night? I guess order take-out? If so, then how do you stay all svelte and trim? (So many hottie model A13 mamas in here!)

I cook or help DH cook most nights.  Before LO that never happened.  The weekends are hard because my IL's cannot just have a homecooked meal so we usually go out once or twice.

    All this.

I make dinner 1-2x a week. DH makes it probably 3x a week, and then we go out or order in probably 2x a week.

I cook every night! We eat out once or twice a month depending on birthdays, special occasions, or I just don't feel like cooking that night! :)

We eat at home 5-6 times a week. DH is usually only home 3-4 nights a week and he does the cooking those nights. Sadly, I am a horrible cook. He cooks, and I clean. On the days he works, I eat foil pocket salmon and veggies. I am a really routine person. We will usually go out or order in once or twice on the weekend depending on his schedule.

i think it's 5-6. Sometimes it doesn't work out if we stay late for work

I tend to cook every other night and make enough to eat leftovers the next day for lunch or dinner.  So if I cook 3-4 times, that usually translates to 6-8 meals. DH cooks about once or twice a week too. If we eat the leftovers for lunch or if I didn't make enough for leftovers, we eat take-out (LO's bedtime doesn't allow for dinners out), or make something quick like bacon and eggs for dinner.  My parents invite us over once or twice each month.

MH cooks. I can't cook at all. I'm really very bad at it.

DH cooks all the meals. We rarely go out because we are cheap frugal.

If the cooking were up to me we would be having cereal with a side of popcorn. I bake though. :)

SS: If we eat dinner, it's a dual effort. He grills and I do the sides. It's always grilled, no matter the weather. Occasionally he'll do a soup/chili/hot dish, but not usually. If we have a day off together we have dinner. So it varies each week.

3-4, but it depends on how much I'm working. That's not counting nights where we have frozen lasagna or whatever.
