I went for an early scan this morning, when I worked out my dates by my period I am 5 weeks and 6 days, however at my scan my baby measured 1.6mm which is somewhere between 4&5 weeks?? Can this happen?
Everything @MaxsMom9 said. There a lot of other women who have found that early U/S are not adding up to their calculations. If your doctor doesn't seem concerned, it probably isn't anything to worry about.
"Today I am pregnant and I love my baby." I use this PGAL mantra when I'm feeling unsure (for good reasons or not most of the time!). Best wishes for a healthy scan with lots of growth next week!
I've been measuring off a couple days as well. It seems to be common and nothing to worry about (I know easier said than done). If you were not charting, you will not know approximately when you ovulated because that doesn't always happen on the magic day 14. Try to stay calm and FX for a great ultrasound on Wednesday.
