Beta blood tests

Hi ladies. First time pregnancy here! My first appointment isn't until May 28th, and my doctor says he doesn't need to see me for blood work before then. I'll be having blood work, exam, and ultrasound at that initial appointment in May. Anyone else in the same boat? I feel really nervous waiting so long to get checked out, but I'm also trying to tell myself that this is normal and not to worry so much.

    I don't get a beta, period. Mine doesn't do them unless there are previous losses or suspected issues :)

    I also don't get beta's done. My doctor believes the same as yours. All good things. And congrats! This is also my first pregnancy as well. :)

    Normal not to get beta bloodwork unless you have a history of losses/issues

    Betas are typically done if you have had a medicated cycle (IUI or IVF for example) or a pervious history if loss. They aren't done on you average pregnancy typically.
