What a relief when this day and the surgeries are complete! Let the healing begin... Thinking of you and your family and especially little ziglet today!!!
I am a fresh out of the closet lurker, but I just wanted to offer my thoughts and prayers to you and your family, for your sweet little guy!! Glad to see a positive update!! Hugs!!
I'm so happy to hear the good news, Zig!!! you guys are all troopers and have a lot of people in your corner. I hope you get to snuggle him for a long time and that his recovery is quick and painless. lots of hugs and happy thoughts being sent your way!! :bz
So glad it's over now....was the transfusion unexpected? (Despite expected blood loss?). I'm glad you get to see him soon can't imagine how long today must have felt for you.

@StephCammie511 technically it was expected, he's so little so even losing a "normal" amount of blood for such a long surgery is a lot. The surgeon didn't mention it until this morning, so it was a surprise to me then.
Thank you all so, so much. It means so much to us to have so many people cheering us on. F14! :bz
